Meguire Grace Hennes is a journalist, singer, and performer, bringing a spark of Gen Z humor and relatability to everything she does — yes, her bangs are a personality trait at this point. She is currently a fashion news writer at The Zoe Report while freelancing for platforms like Bustle, Elite Daily, Byrdie, and more. At TZR, Meguire covers celebrity style, fashion campaigns, product launches, and fashion week content. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University, studying fashion studies and journalism — basically learning how to be Carrie Bradshaw without the spending issues and a thing for a finance bro.

During her time studying what her conservative uncle calls a “fake major,” Meguire was the Vice President and Content Strategy Director of her school’s media publication, Her Campus Montclair, managing a group of 30+ female writers and social content creators. She was also an editorial intern at Her Campus Media and Bustle Digital Group, reporting on everything from Harry Styles fan theories, yassified cowboy boots, interviewing a college Only Fans sex worker, and of course the endless TikTok trends, i.e. why people were turning home decor into chia pets… Still don’t know the answer to that one.

As BDG’s content strategy editorial intern, she pitched, wrote, edited, updated, and conducted SEO keyword research for six platforms; Bustle, Elite Daily, NYLON, The Zoe Report, Romper, and Fatherly, with one of her Bustle pieces: “‘Little Miss’ Memes Are Going Viral On TikTok and Instagram” being Bustle’s most successful lifestyle article of July 2022 with over 100k search clicks. “A big slay.” - Meguire’s editor.

Her Elite Daily dating pieces are some of Meguire’s favorite articles to write and have been consistently displayed on the platform’s homepage — a win for the girlies with relationship trauma. Meguire can’t believe her job is to share her opinions, favorite TikTok trends, and intrusive thoughts with thousands of people. In the words of her incredibly supportive mother who also can’t believe this is a real job, “Meguire’s just getting started.”
